Why I’m Running

I’m running because I’m a mom, and I want our district and our state to be places where every child can thrive. That means real access to healthcare and providers, housing families can afford, and schools where our kids feel safe, supported, and able to succeed. It also means a legislature that works the way New Mexicans deserve — responsive, transparent, and focused on delivering results. Our communities deserve leadership that listens, understands the challenges families face, and works every day to build a stronger future for New Mexico.

Healthcare Access

Every family deserves timely, affordable access to healthcare and the providers they rely on. I’m committed to strengthening our healthcare system so children and adults can get the care they need close to home.

Safe, High-Quality Schools

Our kids should feel safe, supported, and able to learn in schools that meet their needs. I’ll work to improve school quality, expand resources, and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Affordable Housing

Families deserve stability, and that starts with housing they can afford. I’ll fight for policies that expand housing options, reduce barriers for working families, and strengthen the communities we call home.

Meet Abby

Families and seniors in our area are being squeezed from every direction. Housing is too expensive, our schools aren’t giving kids what they need to feel safe and succeed, and healthcare providers avoid New Mexico because the costs make it so difficult to build a career and a practice here. As an attorney and advocate, I’ve spent years helping people navigate complex systems to access the benefits and resources they’re entitled to. I’m running to fix the fundamentals — so we can all afford to live here, our kids can thrive in their schools, and New Mexicans can access care without leaving the state.
